Review: NYC products

After all the love these NYC products have received from youtube, I was wandering around a rexall one day and found the new blushable creme sticks.
Ecstatic, I picked up 2 of them because it was buy 3, get a certain number of aeropoints, and I figured hell, why not?
I also picked up the bronzer in sunny.
Unfortunately, I don't know where my camera is right now, so I can't show any pictures, but I'm sure you've all seen pictures of these around before!!

Anyhow, with the discount, i got the blushes for around $3 each, and the bronzer for just under $2. I immediately went outside, ripped open the blush and tested it. It provided the best flush for my cheeks, and I really liked it. So at the end of that week, I went back and bought the two other colours that I didn't have and I needed one more product to get the points again and this time, I went for the loose translucent setting powder.

REVIEW:
Blushable Creme Sticks: Does what it means to say, it's great for having a nice flush. Nice packaging, portable, easy to apply.
Cons would be that it doesn't last too long on me, I find that if I use it just by itself, it fades within 3 hours and it looks like I am not wearing any blush at all. Not that I don't mind reapplying, it's just sometimes I don't have time in between or during classes to find time to reapply.
However! Lately I have been setting it with a similar colour mineral blush (that I received as a sample) and I have found that it lasts me a bit longer, around 5 hours? After that it is really light, you can still see a bit of it, but I will still need to reapply.
I loveee the colours though. :) Too bad I couldn't find the LE colours at Rexall or any other store for that matter!!
Overall rating: 3/5

Bronzer in "Sunny": I'm not a big bronzer fan, so I used this more for contouring my face, but I probably don't know how to contour my face, so it tends to look all dark at my cheeks. Overall I really like the matte brown, how there are no shimmers in it, and it does what it does!
The only thing I don't really like is the packaging. It's a little hard to open and close sometimes, but I can't really complain considering that it was just under $2.
Overall rating: 4/5

Loose Translucent Powder: Not the greatest. This is my first loose powder, so I can't compare to others. I'm sure there are better ones out there though, I just want to finish this one first before getting another one. The packaging sucks. It comes with a useless sponge, so I threw it away. That was a mistake. I ended up shaking the container a little bit, and a LOT of product came out. so much that it look me a couple weeks of gently tapping my brush to some product, dusting off excess, then applying it to my face.
It applies clear and it helps my makeup last a bit longer than usual, not a dramatic difference though.
Overall rating: 3/5

Also I bought a pressed powder a long time ago from NYC too, it's the lighter one, I forget the name. I'm not too fond of it, just because the colour is a little too light for me at times, and it takes a while to blend it with the crap sponge that it comes with. I've just been carrying it around because there are times when I blot and powder just because I have such an oily t-zone. My rating would be a 2 though. I probably should've bought the translucent pressed powder... that wouldn't been better.

Anyhow! Those are my reviews of NYC products, I have a lot more to review, and I will update this with pictures later! :)
